Latex nipples and BPA?

I accidentally bought a set of Latex nipples yesterday, and it doesn't say anything about not having BPA.

Does latex pose a risk or do they not write it on the package because it does not??Latex nipples and BPA?
Latex does not contain BPA, as someone mentioned it is used to harden plastics--it also does not contain pthalates, which are used to soften PVC and are also a potential cause for concern. Latex is actually a naturally occuring substance, so latex alone is not a cause for concern unless your child is allergic. However, most latex products today are manufactured using ammonia as a preservative--so that could be a concern to you, though the FDA has of course determined that the ammonia does not leach. I would make sure you boil the latex nipples before you use them.Latex nipples and BPA?
I've been checking around...BPA is hardener for hard plastics. I'd say you are in the clear.
Latex nipples do not pose a risk.
