Ok so I do LARP (Live Action Role Play) and I have decided I would like to make my own weapon. I know how to ( http://www.melgir.demon.co.uk/lrp/make/weapon.html ) but I don't know where to get the materials from. Help!!!

Also, here is some examples of latex weapons if anyone else LARPs and would like to make their own weapons or buy some

You can get latex from places like Hobbycraft and Fred Aldous. You will probably be able to get the rest there too.

Also, try Trylon, they make latex and stuff: 01933 411724Making a latex weapon?
Do a search for ';liquid latex'; and/or ';latex mold'; on ebay. Plenty there.

Here's one example:

do you like natural lamb skin latex or other materal or no condom if its a safe relationship both partners testedWhat condoms do yoy like natural skin latex or no condom?
crown skinless skins. almost like wearing nothing at all. Bareback riders are second but you can tell the difference. But if I knew you were healthy then bareback would be best. I want to fell all of the texture and wetness when I am in you. What condoms do yoy like natural skin latex or no condom?
Latex protects better so I say Latex
I cannot afford those damn things anymore so changed up my habit sand now safely use saran wrap or the left over birthday balloons.
If both people have been tested, and birth control is taken care of, then there is no reason to use a condom. No condom! Do not be cruel to lambs, they are so cute, use latex.
Definitely no condom is best but the lamb skin ones are good if you are going to use one. Be careful what lube you use with each different type of condom though!
don't get fancy... use what works... latex... better yet, get your girl to get a prescription for the patch.

    Does latex paint includes toxic?

No, it doesn't. Latex, as found in nature, is the milky sap of many plants that coagulates on exposure to air. It is a complex emulsion in which proteins, alkaloids, starches, sugars, oils, tannins, resins and gums are found. In most plants latex is white, but some have yellow, orange, or scarlet latex.

Latex has many uses, but its first and foremost is rubber. Chicle, widely used as a base for chewing gum, is another latex product. Latex paint use synthetic latex as a binder.

You can order Latex paint here :http://www.liquidlatex.com/?OVRAW=latex%鈥?/a>

Strictly speaking latex is the sap from rubber trees which usable rubber is made.
    Yes.

The word also refers to the thin stretchy material obtained by processing the sap (see Latex clothing, below). It can also be made synthetically by polymerizing a monomer that has been emulsified with surfactants.

Is latex the same as enamel paint?

No, latex is rubber and enamel paint is like ceramic...Is latex the same as enamel paint?
Not even close, enamel forms a hard shell that can be washed and stand up to things like greasy kitchen dirt. Enamel is oil based and the clean up is with turpentine, gas etc but not water. Try to clean brushes with water and it will just pool on top like water on top of gas. You need some kind of solvent to clean up after painting with enamel paint.

You use different brushes for enamel and for different kinds of paints, so check the brushes when you buy them and see what kind of application they are used for.

Enamel can also be used for outdoor projects and furniture etc, it is rust resistent, and is very tough and is a good choice for doors, cabinets, furniture, indoor and outdoor, window casing etc

It is NOT a paint you want to put on an entire wall. That would really damage resale value for you or your landlord. To paint over enamel that entire surface would have to be sanded, and once you use an oil base paint on a wall you need to always use oil base paint or the paint will just lay on the surface, it could crackle on you too.

You can now buy lower gloss enamel, it used to be it was just a high gloss which restricted the things it could be used for. With the low gloss enamel it becomes a good choice for painting kitchen cabinets and furniture that will take some wear, like a coffee table. Interior doors etc.

The colours available in enamel has also grown considerably, you used to have a choice of primary colours only. Same with melamine paint but check melamine for interior and exterior use.

An alternative to enamel is melamine paint, Also forms a hard shell, good for cabinets and doors, and has a strong odor to it, and again you need a solvent of some kind for clean up.

Both have a strong smell, so you need to be able to ventilate the room you are working in by opening windows and doors. Is latex the same as enamel paint?
no not even close enamel is an oil based very high gloss paint usually put in kitchens and bathrooms for its high durability and resistance to humidity.

Latex is water based comes in different finishes but will never have the high gloss finish of enamel it can be durable but its resistance to humidity is quite a bit lower

  • Is latex paint washable?

If I get latex paint on my clothing will it come out in the wash or is it permanent? thanksIs latex paint washable?
Once it sets, you're toast! If you get it on you then you need to wash it out immediately, you might get lucky. There are certain latex paint removers designed for taking latex off of cloth but I've had very little luck with it. If you got it on a synthetic then that pretty much rules out the use of any chemical to dissolve it. That's why they tell you to wear old clothes and painters coveralls. Is latex paint washable?
You really should soak it immediately and then launder. It is the hardest if not impossible to get out once it dried on your clothing.
My experience has been that some of it will wash out, but what is between the fibers is there forever. Wear really old clothes when you paint.
All types of latex paint are washable except flat latex.
Latex is water based and it is washable

What would you do if you won a lifetime supply of latex?

Sell it to various companies for profit.

True or false. Using two latex condoms each time instead of one gives you more protection against STD's.?

    FALSE.

never use condoms in any way theyre not meant to be used, which includes 2 on top of eachother. The only thing that accomplishes is increasing the likelyhood of the condoms breaking.True or false. Using two latex condoms each time instead of one gives you more protection against STD's.?
uh no, if you use them properly as they are intended you shouldn't have a problem.

it is when you try and come up with a new idea of how to use them, is when you get in trouble.

if you are that concerned about STD's with the person you are with...don't have sex! or if you care about this person and you are with them exclusively ....get tested for STD's then you can both come back and not be worried about it.True or false. Using two latex condoms each time instead of one gives you more protection against STD's.?
Using two condoms together will cause them to rub together, the friction causes the latex to breakdown and the breakdown causes holes and INCREASES your chances of getting and sexually transmitted infection. They are called STIs now, it is more accurate as they are INFECTIOUS!!!
I personally think it would lessen the chance of semen leaking but if there is skin contact anywhere down there, it can still spread.
FALSE. This is overkill and will increase your risks of the condom breaking!

Have you ever seen a latex helium balloon fall? If so, could you put a video on YouTube?

If you have seen a latex balloon fall, please answer!Have you ever seen a latex helium balloon fall? If so, could you put a video on YouTube?
I had a lady who used to work at a florist that if you squirt a helium balloon with water, it will come down. The water makes it heavy and then the weight of the balloon is higher than the weight of air and thus the balloon falls. Never tried it, but had someone else confirm it sortof speak.

  • Latex Balloons - Why doesn't Greenpeace care?

As we all know, Greenpeace is all about saving the planet and its inhabitants. What about the seals, penguins and other ocean/lake/sea inhabitants? You see, people like to release latex balloons into the sky for numerous reasons. What goes up, must come down, and sometimes it comes down over water and is mistaken for food. How many animals have choked on those balloons? My question is: While organizations are saving the rainforests, preserving wildlife habitats, and protecting the ozone...why are they not concerned with latex balloon consumption by animals? They were freaking out over hairspray not so long ago...Latex Balloons - Why doesn't Greenpeace care?
Greenpeace along with most of the other environmental organizations were taken over by former soviet communists, so their agenda is not to save the planet or any animals on the planet. They simply want to undermine capitalism.Latex Balloons - Why doesn't Greenpeace care?
Organizations like Heal The Bay does care and educates the public about the dangers to sea life from latex balloons as well as those plastic 6 pack rings that hold aluminum cans together...I have learned to always cut them so prevent them from ending up in the ocean and getting stuck on the snout of a sea animal.
As we all know, we overlook somethings. Sometimes it can be accidental or purposely. Many companies care about the inhabitants of the water, but not that much. And most of the things that are dropped in the water, are dropped because of the fun we humans are having. Most humans don't care as long as we're having fun. The water and coastly anmals require much more dedication and most people are too lazy to commit to it. Just like marriage (did i spell that right?).
well while greenpeace is busy with some other issues at this moment, there are some companies out there that has taken the initative to the balloon problems that u have stated. For example, Trader Joes at San francisco gives out balloons to little kids when they are at the checkout stands, but last time I saw, their balloons are now 100% biodegradable so thats a good start in alleviate some of the problems.
The day that protecting sea turtles becomes profitable, that is the day Greenpeace will be concerned with the number of debris in the oceans that these turtles ingest.
well i would say that if we all work together, there will be a way to slove this problem.i don't really think this is really bigger than the melting ice and CFC
I honestly do not feel that it is that easy to answer questions like this because there are many reasons.

The largest reason is people and money. Greenpeace and like minded organizations are limited by human and financial resources. They have to have the manpower to run an effective campaign and they also have to have the financial backing to utilize this manpower. For this reason they have to decide what they can do that will provide the most impact for the money. If they spread themselves too thin they will accomplish little and their financial contributors will stop giving money to their cause.

The bottom line is that you have to produce results or make a notable impact in order to keep going.
I would say that theres not enough fame and glory in it for them to tackle this issue.
    Greenpeace is and has all ways been about one thing. ';Capitalism bad socialism good.';
Latex balloons are really bad for the environment because sea turtles, sea birds, and many other animal species think that it is food and swollow it which can cause intestinal problems but not breaking up through their digestive system and such. They are cause littering of the environment, stuck in sewer drains, etc....A lot of states are trying to ban the release of balloons.

I teach environmental education so I know all about what plastic can do to the environment.
green peace is about making money, not the environment, but they just ride on the environmental cause for the way to make money.
more animals are killed by ignorant humans than latex balloons. It's not that we don't care, it's just that it would be nearly impossible to stop everybody from buying latex balloons, it's hard enough to stop people from buying fur coats/rugs. D=
Who says they don't care? Just because it's not a priority and they don't make noise about it. They're tackling broader issues, and accomplishing a lot in the process. Their track record is pretty solid.

And the problem with wildlife ingesting the balloons isn't necessarily choking. That's a far more humane death than starvation. When they eat the balloons they can block food from passing into the digestive track and the animal starves and suffers a slow, painful death.

Write a letter or email Greenpeace and ask them your question. I'd be interested in their response.
Then why dont you do something about it if you care. Greenpeace cant save the planet by themselves.

The brand name is no longer around. What was the name for latex paint in the late 50's to mid 60's. Perhaps it was a brand name.?
Latex paint is a Canadian invention. (Swell with patriotic pride!) CIL invented it in the 1940's. It uses a resin from the rubber tree called ';latex'; as the binder. The advantage is latex paint can be reduced with water and doesn't smell bad.

    Am I allergic to Latex?

Just recently in Bio class, we were dissecting fetal pigs, and the teacher said that if any of us has a Latex allergy, we can use special gloves. I don't recall ever being allergic, but as soon as we started using them, I felt somewhat sick and have been sneezing off and on. We have used these Latex gloves for about a week now, and I've felt sick this whole time.

Do you think I just happen to be sick or am I really allergic?Am I allergic to Latex?
You are sick. You would be getting really bad hives, and major swelling around the sight of contact.Am I allergic to Latex?
I developed a latex allergy in my thirties and I found out following 2 incidents. I blew up a balloon and my mouth swelled up and I visited the dentist and again experienced localised swelling on the side of my mouth she was working on. I can wear gloves containing latex without any hives or itching but then again it's not exactly anaphylaxis I have - yet - touch wood.

  • Do Hospitals Still Use Latex Gloves?

I ask every doctor, nurse, dentist and medical professional I find about their use of latex gloves. Why? Because last year at the age of nine, my son developed a very serious latex allergy.

The answer I'll give is that it varies. I talk to some medical professionals who have done away with them altogether. In fact, my son's new pediatrician does not allow them in the office. My dentist still uses them because they are more comfortable than vinyl and the alternatives. Our local ER won't allow them. So it just varies.

Medical professionals should think about switching because they do put themselves at risk for future latex allergies. I've talked to so many in the health field who have this allergy now. After I explain what my son goes through, I've had people tell me they'll stop using them.

If you have a latex allergy, get an alert band. Every medical professional I have encountered notices my son's band right off and that helps keep him a bit safer.

Sorry if you were not asking for allergy reasons. Latex allergy just takes up a lot of our lives now so that is where my mind goes.

Do Hospitals Still Use Latex Gloves?
Latex gloves are used in every situation where there is contact exposure - dentist, hospitals, money changers, technicians.

Alert them and they will use non latex. Maybe not money handlers or TSA agents - this will only slow you down. Do Hospitals Still Use Latex Gloves?
In most large hospital settings latex gloves are not used. You will mostly find them in the operating room because sterile non-latex gloves are very expensive.
There are some hospitals that use latex gloves and then there are some organizations that will use latex free gloves.
    yes they do.

An anti-microbial and/or anti-fungal synthetic fiber that comprises various thermoplastic polymers and additives in a bi-component form in either a core-sheath or side-by-side configurations. The anti-microbial synthetic fibers comprise inorganic anti-microbial additives, distributed in certain areas to reduce the amount of the anti-microbial agents being used, and therefore the cost of such fibers. The fibers can incorporate anti-microbial additives so that they are not removed by repeating washing in boiling water and in dry clean cycles and become ineffective and conversely enhance access to the additives by washing or the like. The fibers comprise high tenacity polymers (e.g. PET) in one portion and hydrolysis resistance polymers (e.g. PCT) in another portion with the additives. The fibers can further be blended with non-anti-microbial fibers such as cotton, wool, polyester, acrylic, nylon etc. to provide anti-microbial finished fabrics. In one such embodiment, binder fibers are used which are mixed with other fibers

Examples of some organic types of anti-microbial agents, are U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,408,022 and 5,494,987 (an anti-microbial polymerizable composition containing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, a specific one-, di- or tri-functional anti-microbial monomer and a polymerization initiator which can yield an unreleasable anti-microbial polymer from which the anti-microbial component is not released), 5,709,870 (a silver containing anti-microbial agent which comprises carboxymethylcellulose, a crosslinked compound, containing silver in the amount of 0.01 to 1% by weight and having a degree of substitution of carboxymethyl group of not less than 0.4 and the anti-microbial agent being a silver salt of carboxymethylcellulose, which is insoluble to water), 5,783,570 (an organic solvent-soluble mucopolysaccharide consisting of an ionic complex of at least one mucopolysaccharide and a quaternary phosphonium, an anti-bacterial antithrombogenic composition comprising organic solvent-soluble mucopolysaccharide and an organic polymer material, an antibacterial antithrombogenic composition comprising organic solvent-soluble mucopolysaccharide and an inorganic antibacterial agent, and to a medical material comprising organic solvent-soluble mucopolysaccharide

    Am I allergic to latex?

i lost my virginity 3 days ago, and my boyfriend wore a latex condom. ever since my vagina has been itching and burning. is it normal? or and i allergic to latex? :/Am I allergic to latex?
You very well could be. I would however see your doctor in case an infection is coming on. If it turns out to be an allergy, there are latex free condoms. As well, if there was spermicide you could be having a reaction that as well.

Do see your doctor to rule things out. Untreated infections can lead to complications.Am I allergic to latex?
You are very possibly allergic to latex. It becoming more and more common. Also if you have more exposure to it the reaction can become more severe. So avoid latex. Because some proteins in rubber are similar to food proteins, some foods may cause an allergic reaction in people who are allergic to latex. The most common of these foods are banana, avocado, chestnut, kiwi fruit and passion fruit. Although many other foods can cause an allergic reaction, avoiding all of them might cause nutrition problems. Therefore, it's recommended that you avoid only the foods that have already given you an allergic reaction. Or you may have a yeast infection...
You can test this by acquiring a latex product (hand glove) and letting it touch a part of your skin (arm, hand). If you get redness and itching, then it is quite possible you are allergic to latex. On the other hand, it is also possible that you acquired an infection (even condoms are not 100% effective). Best bet is to visit your doctor or ER.
You got yourself an STD there, sorry.

Also, doesn't really count if he wore a condom.
maybe you have an infection.. safe sex is not safe at all if you are not clean enough to wash yourself after.
It sounds like you contracted AIDS. I'm sorry.
this sounds serious...I suggest you go see a doctor and find out whats going on down there...

    When and who discovered latex?

    Brazilian Indians did it.

Europeans had dicover it at end of XIX century then Brazil still with monoply until English take it to Malasia (South Asia) and then broke the monoply (period between 1890-1920)When and who discovered latex?
Latex is the milky sap from the rubber tree Hevea brasiliensis. The British first discovered latex in the mid-18th century, but it didn't come into wide use until about 50 years ago.

In 1735 a French explorer, Charles de la Condamine, took home some hardened rubber latex from Peru. In 1770 an English chemist discovered that the material rubbed out pencil marks, and so we get the name rubber. Scientists discovered that latex dissolved in turpentine made a liquid that could make fabric waterproof. In the 1820s English inventor Thomas Hancock built a machine that kneaded scraps of latex into a solid mass, and this led to the rubber processing of today. In 1832 Scottish chemist Charles Macintosh began making raincoats by putting a layer of rubber between two layers of cloth. This kind of coat is still called macintosh. Manufacturers started making rubber products, including shoes, elastic bands, hoses and tubes.

These early products got sticky in hot weather and stiff in cold. In 1839 American inventor Charles Goodyear (left) discovered a way to make rubber stronger and less likely to be affected by seasons. He called the process vulcanisation, and it meant that rubber could be used in more products, such as between moving parts of machinery.

    Plantations

The invention of the automobile increased the demand for rubber, and by 1914 wild rubber plants could not supply enough. Rubber plantations were established in Africa, Central and South America and in Asian countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. The cultivated rubber trees produce more latex than the wild trees.

Today, more than 80% of the world's natural rubber is grown in Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.

    Processing natural rubber

Rubber trees grow best in hot, moist climates. The trees grow straight, 18-20 metres high with smooth bark and dark, shiny leaves. The tree has pale yellow blossoms, which give way to seed pods containing 3 brown seeds about 2-3 cm long. Latex containing rubber flows through the outer wood of the trunk, just under the bark. Workers called tappers collect the latex. They cut a shallow groove in the bark about 1 metre from the ground. At the bottom of the cut, a small spout is inserted into the tree, and a cup hangs below it to catch the drops of latex that ooze from the cut. Trees are generally tapped every day for 15 days, then rested for 15 days.

The latex is poured into tanks, and an equal amount of water is added. This liquid is strained to remove dirt. Formic acid is added to make the mixture form solid particles, which rise to the surface to form a crust of rubber. This is fed through rollers to squeeze out the water to make a solid sheet of rubber. This rubber is crude rubber, and is ready to be shipped to factories to be processed in different ways to make many different products.

    Uses

Most rubber is used for tyres for cars, large vehicles and planes. Rubber is also used to make many mechanical parts such as gaskets, belts and seals.

Rubber products include waterproof clothing, gloves, hats, shoes and household products. Medical equipment made of rubber includes hot water bottles, gloves, syringes, tapes, oxygen tents, hearing aids and many more. Swimmers wear goggles, caps and flippers made of rubber. Many sports have rubber equipment, such as golf balls and other rubber balls. Rubber products seal jars, are used in toys and paints and for recreation. Sponge and foam rubbers are used to make bedding and other furniture, cushions and pillows, and as insulation. When and who discovered latex?
    discovered by Dupont Corporation, U.S.A.

It is used mostly on stage to create such things as fake scars, or to create the appearance of normal skin, they use it to hide a flat-ish a bladder between it and the actors real skin that is filled with stage blood...then if a prop knife is ran over it, it looks like the actor has been cut and is bleeding (This was a special effect that was used in the original Sweeney Todd musical on stage)

I've also heard it is used for more...er....deviant things.

But I wouldn't know about that............:)
A...fetish. Or look REALLY cool. Like a rubber monster robot man.

Im alergic to ruber based things such as elastic, latex, glue, etc. would i be allergic to cowchew or swatches

(swatch watches)Im alergic to ruber based things such as elastic, latex, glue, etc. would i be allergic to cowchew or swatches
Chances are that if you are that sensitive to rubber based products that you will be allergic to the swatch watches. You could try coating the strap with something like clear nail polish to provide a barrier. This works great for those suffering from nickel allergies which are also in watch parts and jewelry.

    Allergic reaction to latex condoms?....?

I've been having sex with the same girl now for about 6 months. Last week we had sex wit a condom and i noticed i had a rash in my pubic area. It went away in about 1 or 2 days. Then last night i had sex again and the rach came back. It itches a little bit whenever i touch it. I was wondering if i could be allergic to the latex or the lube they use on the condoms? If you could please help me that would be great!Allergic reaction to latex condoms?....?
it could be very possible that you are allergic to the latex or to the lube. people can develop allergies out of the blue, so even if you have been using latex condoms before, it could still mean you are allergic. I have a friend who's allergic to latex, she found out when she wore latex gloves and developed a crazy rash on her hands. My suggestion would be to try natural condoms with no latex (theres alot of ppl who are allergic to latex so dont worry) and see how that works out for you. If you think it's the lube, try without and see what happens too.

Best of luckAllergic reaction to latex condoms?....?
Try wearing a latex glove for a while, if you get a rash on your hand you're probably allergic.
Well, rashes are definitely a sign of allergic.

To really confirm this, you better consult a doctor.

We can't help you much through the net.

But there are a few possibilities that might cause rashes to your pubic area :

    1) You recently wore tight underwear

    2) There was a lot of friction involved when you had intercourse

    3) Either you or your girl are unhygienic

    4) You're really allergic to latex

I guess that's all I could do, good luck! ^^
try vinyl condoms and see if you have the same problem. if you don't then you are probably allergic to latex.

CPAP mask without latex and silicone???? Does it exist?

I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea. I used my machine for about a week and had to sell it because I couldn't wear the mask nor the nose plugs. I broke out from the material in the mask. I guess it's either latex or silicone. Can anyone tell me if they make such a mask that does not contain either silicone or latex? Any websites or phone numbers would be appreciated.CPAP mask without latex and silicone???? Does it exist?
    Dave,

Because the devices are Licensed as Prescription Only Devices you just cannot go around and do much ';do it yourself';. You really have to work with the providers of the devices to your when you get them with a prescription. Every device that I personally have seen, and I have seen over 50 has some sort of clear silicone rubber as an sealant between the hard plastic and the body! I will look around and check further thought and add on to this answer!

I HAVE CHECKED AROUND AND HERE ARE TWO SITES FOR YOU!

TRY THESE COMPANIES IF ANY SUCH THINGS EXIST THEY HAVE IT!

GOOD LUCK! BETWEEN BOTH THESE SUPPLIERS THEY HANDLE PRETTY MUCH EVERY THING MANUFACTURED!

Good Luck and stay with it! When I first started I had a sore nose just from the rubbing of the thing! It took several months to really get to where I did not really notice it and that was with soft rubber! There is going to be some discomfort at first no matter what! You might use a hypo-allergenic cream on it you can get it a Wallmart over in the makeup section under Almay brand! It is one of the few hypo-allergenic over the shelf lines you can buy!

    Good Sleeping!

APSCPAP mask without latex and silicone???? Does it exist?
Your best resource would be wherever you got the original mask.
I worked at a home health care company for 4 years and all of the masks that we sold were of some sort of plastic with some silicone for comfort. You should have talked to the provider of your machine to find something more suitable. Also, i know that when i was working for the home health care company, the machine is only rented to the patient by the insurance company and the insurace company doesnt purchase that piece of equipment for the patient until a few month trial period has passed, so if you sold that cpap machine you may be paying the health care company for that machine or going without one because your insurance wont pay for another one for several years.

Behr is excellent exterior paint, and so is Benjamin Moore. Better quality paint is very worth it for exteriors. I don't know where you got that little tit-bit from, but they DO cover fingerprints, some crooks have become undone though by not destroying the gloves because fingerprints can be left on the INSIDE, because the latex is so smooth.

Latex nipples - Has anyone's baby had an allergic reaction..?

Rash? If so, what did it look like.

My daughter developed a rash (bumpy, blotchy, non-itchy) around her mouth and cheeks, seemingly, after I started her on latex nipples earlier this week.

She also has a minor infant yeast rash and i'm wondering if she somehow transferred it to her face?

Experienced Moms - I need you advice!Latex nipples - Has anyone's baby had an allergic reaction..?
It could be because of the nipples. My daughter often got the bumps around her mouth area because of all the area being wet from sweat and heat. If she has a mild yeast rash i would ask your doctor to see if it may be thrush which is curable just a bummer for you if she has it then u would have to go out and get new bottles and nipples and nuks if she uses one. best thing to do is consult your pediatrician when you have any doubt if there is something that may be wrong with your child.Latex nipples - Has anyone's baby had an allergic reaction..?
Latex allergies are extremely serious. You should have her tested and then alert your local hospitals as to her having this allergy (if she does). The hospitals sometimes use latex tubings (for intubations - in extreme emergencies) and this could actually kill your daughter if she has an allergy to latex. This is also why many hospitals are now going to latex free environments and don't allow people to bring in latex balloons to patients. Please take this seriously! This is something she could potentially die from if she has an allergy. Get her checked and check with your doctor regarding her potential to having this allergy and what to do about it.
why are you using latex nipples when silicone nipples are better people rarely use latex nipples again take your baby to a doctor if you are really concerned

Men: Have you used non-latex condoms? Were they good? Help!?

I'd like your opinions on this subject:

I think I'm allergic to latex condoms. I'm on antibiotics right now and I need to use an alternative form of birth control. I'm thinking about picking up some non latex condoms at the store.

    Do they feel the same?

    Are they as durable?

Can you use them with any type of lube?

They do protect against pregnancy right? Lol.

Thanks!!!Men: Have you used non-latex condoms? Were they good? Help!?
i had an ex girlfriend who was allergic to latex and so we were unable to use condoms. She was on other forms of contraception too but we used them once or twice. They work just the same, we found, but the key is to be careful putting them on. Thats when i think most damage can be done and they loose resistance (just like any other condom i guess)

just be careful and check with your doctor that you can use them. The girl im refering to was eventually able to wear latex condoms so you may too in the future.Men: Have you used non-latex condoms? Were they good? Help!?
Well, I have never used them, but I do know that they have to go through the same rigorous standards as normal condoms, so they are durable. They will be ok with any sort of water based lube (KY etc) and they do protect against pregnancy by providing a barrier between the sperm and the vagina, thereby preventing pregnancy

You can use Black Beauty, Pjur, or Vivishine. Look on ebay, type in Latex Polish and you will get lots of selections.

    Good LuckLatex clothing polish?
It's very rare that I would suggest something from sharon sloane, because their latex is cheap and nasty. However, their shiner is quite good. It's cheap and goes a long way. You do have to polish it a bit more than silicon sprays, but it's ok.
there are several thigns, mostly you want a silicone based lube if possible, there's also some more expensive shiners like eros, which is quite worth the money.

do you get to discharge from ur vigina? If you are allergic to latex....?

    Latex moulds?

how do you create the original shape for forming latex moulds.

so say i wanted the shape of a dog or cat how can i make the original shapeLatex moulds?
    Hi:

An article on the wetcanvas website sculpture channel may help you entitled ';Make and Cast Your Own Latex Molds';. This is from a member who created a sculpture piece out of non-hardening clay and made a mold over it using a latex-based mold making material. This member was also shown on the DIY show 'Crafters Coast to Coast' - this show is also on HGTV under ';That's Clever';.

Wetcanvas is an amazing artist community website, and there are currently more than 110,000 worldwide members. Basic membership is completely free, but you can browse the website as a guest. You can get a lot of the material you'll need for this process from the Compleat Sculptor, an art supply store particularly for sculpting supplies.

Hope this helps, and gives you some ideas.Latex moulds?
Clay's a good one but wood's good as well.
So if you want to have a latex dog figurine when you're finished, I would sculpt it out of clay, maybe an oil never-dry-out clay. Then I would pour plaster around it.

-do this in 2 steps, pour half of it, then harden, and then use a release like vasiline, then pour the other half and harden. That way it'll pop apart like a mould.

Take the clay out, and you have your mould, the hollowed negative. Then pour in your latex/cilicone/caulking. Once it hardens, pop open the plaster mould and you should have your dog figure.
take a cast of a cat or a dog to work with

A gallon of latex paint can cover 500 square feet. Find how many gallon containers of paint should............

A gallon of latex paint can cover 500 square feet. Find how many gallon containers of paint should be bought to paint two coats on each wall of a rectangular room whose dimensions are 14 feet by 16 feet (assume 8-foot ceiilings)A gallon of latex paint can cover 500 square feet. Find how many gallon containers of paint should............
    C'mon, you can do this!

One wall is 14*8. Same for the opposite wall.

The other two walls are each 16*8.

    So we have total area of 2*14*8 + 2*16*8 = 224+256 = 480 square feet.

We need two coats so 2*480 = 960.

So we need 960 / 500 = 1.92 gallonsA gallon of latex paint can cover 500 square feet. Find how many gallon containers of paint should............
    Area of walls = 2.(14 x 8) + 2.(16 x 8) ft虏

Area of walls = 480 ft虏

For 2 coats are covering 960 ft虏

    500 ft虏%26lt;----%26gt; 1 gallon

    960 ft虏%26lt;-----%26gt;960 / 500 gallons

    = 1.92 gallons.

So require two tins of 1 gallon for walls.
The perimeter of the room is 14 + 16 + 14 + 16 = 60 running feet. The area to be coated is 480 square feet, but you're doing it twice.

To coat 960 square feet, you'll have to buy 2 gallons, which would give you 1000 square feet.
I can't believe that ANYBODY is so poor at math that they can't do THIS problem... I was doing problems like this in the THIRD GRADE. I'd be ashamed to admit I couldn't do this problem.

multiply 14 times 2 and 16 times two then add them together and multiply by 8 then divide the total by 500 and the answer is gallons

    Geesch...
480 squares in the room, 960 squares for two coats.

480 squares to the 500 means 500 first tin, 460 the last.

That's 2 tins no matter how you cut it.

You'll need 2 tins anyway - the remaining 4% is the Dulux recommendation for wastage.

Amercian maths must make it hard for you guys, we do it in metres and have smaller numbers to worry about.

The sums above do not account for watering down the sealer.

Technically it should be one tin of sealer and one tin of paint (proper).
    1) First we need to find the area of the 4 walls that we will paint. This is actually the surface area of a rectangular cube/prism MINUS the top and bottom area.

    Area = 2(16 x 8) + 2( 14 x 8)

    A = 2(128) + 2(112)

    A = 256 + 224

    A = 480 sq. feet

Since you need to paint 2 coats, the total area is 960 sq. ft.

    You will need

    960/500 = 1.92 gallons or

2 gallon containers of paint to paint the 4 walls.
need window and door dimensions otherwise you have to paint yourself into a corner
first find wall surface area of room.

    you have 2 walls at 8feet x 14feet.

    and 2 walls at 8feet x 16feet.

    hence surface area

    = 2 x(112) + 2x(128)

    =224 + 256

    =480feet squared.

    2 coats are needed

hence need to cover 960feet squared.

if one bucket covers 500feet, then number of buckets needed is 960/500

    hence you need 2 buckets
For one wall the area is

14*8= 112 sq. ft. (As ceiling is 8 feet high)

For the other wall the area is

16*8= 128 sq. ft. ( again as ceiling is 8 feet high)

    So the total area is

    112 + 128 = 240 sq. ft.

But as the walls are to be coated twice, the total area becomes

    240*2 = 480 sq.ft.

So on the basis of above calculation we can say that ONE GALLON of latex paint is enough to cover the walls. (excluding the ceiling)

My friend boyfriend says he is alergic 2 latex condoms?

so they stop using condoms is the other ways they can protect them selfs from STD and pregnats with out useing latex condomMy friend boyfriend says he is alergic 2 latex condoms?
If they are only worried about not getting pregnant, he should use a lambskin condom. They feel pretty much like you're not wearing a condom.

Lambskin does not protect against HIV or STDs.

He can buy polyeurythane condoms anywhere that latex condoms are sold. They do not cost much more. That will protect both he %26amp; his partner from pregnancy, HIV %26amp; STDs. They are as effective as latex.

If he wants, he can put on a lambskin, and then a regular latex over that. That will protect him from his allergy, and his partner from STDs, HIV, and pregnancy. Keep in mind, this is the only time someone should wear two condoms.

You shoud never wear two latex or two poly, or one latex with one poly condom. They run a higher risk of breaking this way.My friend boyfriend says he is alergic 2 latex condoms?
tell your friend not to be nieve and just when he expects to get some unprotected, tell her to whip out the non latex and by his reaction she will know his true intention.
better safe than sorry in my opion ?
a lot of people are alegric to latex.. she can use the female condom,,and she can also say no protection no sex for her own good...he will suddenly find out he can deal with a condom...lol
Yes, they can and need to be using lambskin condoms. Sometimes people say that just so they will stop using condoms and it's bs.

Oh and when a man says that, 9 out of 10 times it is bs. She needs to be making him wear lambskin condoms.
Trojan makes a great nonlatex-polyeurethene condom. In the USA, it is probably carried by most stores (walgreens and walmart are the large chains which I've bought nonlatex from).

As far as birth control, without seeing a doctor you can get contraceptive foam, contraceptive jelly, and other forms of spermicide. My personal favorite is Vaginal Contraceptive Film - it's not messy and you can't tell that it's there.

If you live in most parts of the USA, Planned Parenthood prescribes The Birth Control Pill without needing a doctor visit or physical.
Latex is a very common allergy and it is a very dangerous one. My mother has a latex allergy, she cannot even be around the latex balloons or wear those latex cleaning gloves.

well.....if your friend's boyfriend is worried about STD he is not being faithful to his girlfriend now is he?

A condom is the only thing that will protect one from STDs

There are condoms out there that are not made of latex. He just has to look or ask the store pharmacist or manager.
That can be true. There are condoms that are not made with latex. That's what they should use.
ive heard of that before but they make a differnt kind for people who are alergic
Tell him it's okay, that's normal, and that you'll be over at my pad for the rest of the night, testing a variety of different condoms. Call it an in-depth fact finding mission.
It may be true. Some people are allergic to latex. I'm not exactly sure what you are asking, but I think you are asking what are the other ways to protect themselves from STD and pregnancy. I listed some sites that have multiple birth control methods listed. I can't think of any other ways to prevent STDs other than a condom.
It's possible he's being truthful (I've heard of people being allergic to latex gloves). I've also heard from many of the male gender that they just don't get enough satisfaction with a latex condom. Those are being selfish, and childish. Sheepskin condoms are far more comfortable--but do not prevent STD's. If your boyfriend won't use a latex condom (or can't) get to a GYN, and get every kind of preventative measure for women available. Good luck.
There are non latex condoms available. Unprotected sex is just idiotic.
so you have a boyfriends and a teacher hitting on you? you need help.
he is just trying to scam you, tell him its too bad he misses out and he will change his mind
there are sheepskin condoms.... never used em but i hear they don't protect so well against STD's best thing for them is to both get checking for STD's and her to get on birth control. My buddy did that with his GF and they don't have to worry about condoms at all.
Your friend's boyfriend? Yeah right! lol! There's non-latex condoms all over the place, just ask your pharmacist.

It makes yourt eyes water thinking about how he could have found out about that one!
lots of people have latex allergies check out non latex

hey, i bought a radioactive man costume for halloween and the mask seems to be a little bit wri kled due to the shipping process, any tips on how to unwrinkle it? Its a hard mask and maybe the air made it collapse in some parts how do i make it rigid again? thanks.Unwrinkle a latex mask?
Have you tried putting it in warm water? I don't know if that will work or not. But, it's rubber, so it's not like the water will hurt it. Rubber is water proof. Maybe it'll take the wrinkles out.

    BOTH DIFFERENT

    http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=ho…Is there latex in silicone?
i think it's the other way around, silicone in latex.
silicone is are rubberlike polymeres which have main chains from Silicon and oxygen.

Latex can also be synthesized, but natural latex is derived from the sap of plants. It's a polymer which is containing mainly carbon and hydrogen. Rubber is made from latex.

This is a pagan caricature. it is not Christian.

satan is an evil, destroying, fallen angel. he/it can appear in many forms. just talk to anyone who has ever seen lucifer/satan conjured in a witchcraft or satanic meeting of people committed to him. it is not a joke. satan is a malevolent being who opposes Christ and His Kingdom.
Most of Christianity is ripped off from Paganism. I'm guessing they got the ';pitchfork'; modelling on Poisidon and his trident.
I think the pitchfork is mostly used for moving hay. Come to think of it, it would be hot to see a farmer in his Red Latex Jump Suit feeding the cows!
He switched from red to light blue (He is a kinder, gentler Satan now).

The pitchfork is for pitching the manure around at his new farm.
I would say satan is more of a dark evil force to be reckoned with than the fictional portrayal
I think he prefers leather and he probably has alot of ';fun'; using that pitch fork.
Latex is so passe. Only real leather will do. And pitchforks are handy for big barbecues.

  • Warts and latex gloves?

if you touch a wart with a latex glove, is it safe to say that you will not contract anything?Warts and latex gloves?
    yesWarts and latex gloves?
Did you mean you were wearing a glove, and touched a wart? I've heard that the papilloma virus can penetrate latex. You should consider how long was the contact, and did you have broken skin under the latex in the contact point of the wart. Also, was the wart broken (bleeding). My guess is that if your skin was not broken, and the wart was not broken, and especially if the glove and the warted skin were dry, that the chance of contracting something would be negligible. Ask a dermatologist if you are truly worried about whatever you touched. And why not just wash your hands thoroughly after handling diseased surfaces, even if you were wearing gloves. There are anti-viral/anti-bacterial no-rinse hand cleansers available.
If you touch a wart with your bare hand, you have very little chance of catching anything. So, I guess you could say with a latex glove you should be safe. Why don't you sit in on a class on Infection Control? It might help you be less fearful of contact with others.

    Allergic to latex condoms?

Try polyeurethane or sheepskin(naturalamb) condoms..but be aware she will need other birth control for sheepskin becuase it is not 100 percent and sometimes liquid can leak through it.

go to the health department.they're free.

if your too lazy to do that, then your probably too lazy to have sex
It would be easier if you got a piece of string and tie the base of your penis. Make sure it's really really tight that way amy semen doesn't leak out. It'll be tight enough if your penis turns purple, once it reaches that color, you're good to go! ;D
uh...no. You could just go to the public health department and get some for free. They have them in the restrooms, so you don't even have to ask for them.
Why not? With 5 different sized holes to choose from you can pick the one that fits best.

    Oil or Latex???

    I need a quick answer.

    Painting a door.

I pretty sure I primed it (ages ago) with a latex primer.

But the paint I wanted to use is oil.

    Can I still do it???

Or should I put oil primer over top of the latex primer.

    Will that even work??

Paint the door with an semi-gloss oil paint. You can paint it over a latex primer but not a latex paint.Oil or Latex???
It's not a good idea to put oil based paint over latex. You can put latex over oil or oil over oil. I would reprime the door, also. If you think the primer was latex; re-do in latex.

  • Is this Band Aid reaction a latex allergy??

so, every time I use some kinds of bandaids they give me this horrible red raised itchy skin whereever the bandage was in the exact shape of it - Is this a latex allergy or could it just be the adhesive? Latex exam gloves at the dr's office don't seem to bother me but they really aren't in contact with my skin for hours at a time either...Is this Band Aid reaction a latex allergy??
I personally can't use bandaids because the adhesive actually makes my skin break out. When I go to the doctor they use regular gauze and paper tape because it has the mildest form of adhesive. In rare cases pulling off a bandaid has pulled my skin off with it. That's how I found out I was very allergic to the glue.Is this Band Aid reaction a latex allergy??
I am doing research on Latex Allergy. If you have a minute, it would help my project if you would take my survey on surveymonkey. Thank you!

    http://tiny.cc/0mm0d Report Abuse

It may be a latex allergy, or something called dermographia -- very sensitive skin gets easily irritated, nothing to worry about.

There are nonallergenic bandaids on the market, sold wherever you find the regular bandaids. look at the label.
Personally, I'm ';sensitive'; but not allergic to the adhesive in band-aids. If I put it on sensitive skin, like the inside of my arm, I get the rash. I don't if its on a tougher place like a finger.
possibly -quit using them and see if it goes away.

Hi, I wouldn't use a general spray paint as the paint will not be flexible enough when dry.

Instead, use acrylic paint and add some liquid latex in with the paint - this will give you a flexible paint when dry.

On a lesser scale, you can mix a bit of washing up liquid in with paint for a similar, but not as good quality effect.

    CONDOMS AS PROTECTION

Editor of Rubber Chemistry and Technology, Dr. C. Michael Roland of the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Washington D.C., spoke about his research on ';intrinsic flaws'; in latex rubber condoms and surgical gloves (published in Rubber World, June, 1993).

    Roland said that what I am about to relate is ';common knowledge among good scientists who have no political agenda.';

Electron microscopy reveals the HIV virus to be about O.1 microns in size (a micron is a millionth of a metre). It is 60 times smaller than a syphilis bacterium, and 450 times smaller than a single human sperm.

    The standard U.S. government leakage test (ASTM) will detect water leakage through holes only as small as 10 to 12 microns (most condoms sold in Canada are made in the U.S.A., but I'll mention the Canadian test below). Roland says in good tests based on these standards, 33% of all condoms tested allowed HIV-sized particles through, and that ';spermicidal agents such as nonoxonol-9 may actually ease the passage.';

    Roland's paper shows electron microscopy photos of natural latex. You can see the natural holes, or intrinsic flaws. The ';inherent defects in natural rubber range between 5 and 70 microns.';

And it's not as if governments don't know. A study by Dr. R.F. Carey of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control reports that ';leakage of HIV-sized particles through latex condoms was detectable for as many as 29 of 89 condoms tested.'; These were brand new, pre-approved condoms. But Roland

says a closer reading of Carey's data actually yields a 78% HIV-leakage rate, and concludes: ';That the CDC would promote condoms based on [this] study...suggests its agenda is concerned with something other than public health and welfare.'; The federal government's standard tests, he adds,

    ';cannot detect flaws even 70 times larger than the AIDS virus.'; Such tests are ';blind to leakage volumes less tha one microliter - yet this quantity of fluid from an AIDS-infected individual has been found to contain as many as 100,000 HIV particles.';

    As one U.S. surgeon memorably put it, ';The HIV virus can go through a condom like a bullet through a tennis net.';

It's the same story with latex gloves. Gloves from four different

    manufacturers revealed ';pits as large as 15 microns wide and 30 microns deep.'; More relevant to HIV transmission, ';5 micron-wide channels, penetrating the entire thickness were found in all the gloves.'; He said the presence of such defects in latex ';is well established.';

For Canada, the story is the same. A standard Health and Welfare Canada test of condoms manufactured between 1987 and 1990, based on stringent tests of pressure, leakage, and volume (as in the U.S., there is no effort to examine micron-level leakage), reported that an astonishing 40% of the

condoms tested failed at least one of the tests. Tests in 1991 showed an ';improved'; 28% rate.

    _________

The few statistics illustrating the effect of condoms use on HIV transmission in homosexual acts do not give clear cut results.

R.Detels (1989)lxxxix observed a 2.9% drop in seroconversion when condoms were used in homosexual intercourse, in a cohort of 2915 active homosexuals initally HIV sero-negative.

But, in that statistic, the number of partners for each member of the cohort was almost as important a factor as the use or not of a condom.

L.Levin et al. (1995)xc found that most (71%) of the 140 active-duty young men with documented sero-conversion who were identified in various US army installations did use a condom during their homosexual or heterosexual relations.

Results seemed to indicate a paradoxal increased risk of seroconversion proportional to condom use in this series.

    CONDOMS AND CANCER

    May 29, 2004

Potent Carcinogen found in Most Condoms

Recent study has discovered the presence of a very potent carcinogen in most condoms. Small amounts of this chemical are released whenever condoms are used.

Nobody knows whether this is serious yet however it is not likely to be healthy to expose the reproductive organs to cancer-causing substances on a regular basis.

This is a potentially serious issue for much of the world's population that cannot afford or access other forms of birth control. I hope further studies will follow on this soon. Could this be related to the rise in cancer in women, and men as well?

Condom Talc danger is very serious

ALL CONDOMS ARE COATED WITH TALC TO PREVENT THEM STICKING TOGETHER

    Talc

Talc is a very fine substance, so fine it can be used as a ';dry'; lubricant.

Talc is a chemical similar to asbestos, a known cancer causing substance. Talc is found in many ';baby and body'; powders, feminine powders and many cosmetics. It's alsp used as a lubricant on condoms! While it makes your skin ';feel'; slippery smooth, talc does so much more.

How does talc keep babies and your private parts so ';fresh';? Presumably by clogging the pores that secrete those necessary fluids. Also, those fine little particles manage to get into the system. And being similar to asbestos is not comforting, especially when used on babies and genital areas.

Talc's harmful effect on human tissues has been known for quite some time. Long ago, its dry lubricating properties were used as a glove-donning powder (easy to slide on) for surgical gloves. As early as the 1930's, talc was linked to post-operative granulomatous peritonitis and fibrous adhesions.

-from Candace Sue Kasper, MD and Dr. P. J. Chandler

Talc...(on condoms)...may result in fallopian tube fibrosis with resultant infertility. Question raised by Doctors Kasper and Chandler in Journal of the American Medical Association. (JAMA) 3/15/95

-from Nutrition Health Review, Summer 1995 n73p8(1)

';A possible tie between talcum powder and ovarian cancer, long suspected because of talc's chemical similarity to asbestos, was strongly supported last week when a study found a higher risk of the cancer among women who used feminine deodorant sprays. The study, published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, found that women who used talcum powder in the genital area had an increased ovarian cancer risk of 60% and women who used feminine deodorant sprays had a 90% increased risk.'; In 1994, the FDA conducted a scientific workshop on the issue and did not find enough of a casual link to justify even a consumer warning.

-from The University of California, Berkeley Wellness Letter, April 1993 v9n7p1(2)

    _____________

    LATEX DEATHS

THE FDA SAYS ONLY 1% OF LATEX DEATHS ARE REPORTED

Delayed contact dermatitis from chemicals in rubber has been recognized since the 1930s.4 But except for rare early reports, clinicians did not appreciate systemic allergic reactions to latex proteins until 1979, when case reports began to appear in Europe. 5

Latex allergy erupted in the United States shortly after the Centers for Disease Control introduced universal precautions in 1987. By late 1992, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) received 1133 reports of serious allergic reactions and anaphylaxis occurring to patients and health care staff associated with 30 classes of latex medical devices. There were 15 patient deaths associated with latex barium enema catheters.5,6

The FDA estimated that the reports represented only 1% of actual occurrences.6

    _________

Recent reports in the literature indicate that from about 1 percent to 6 percent of the general population and about 8 percent to 12 percent of regularly exposed health care workers are sensitized to latex.

An estimated 17 million Americans are now sensitive to latex ( up from not one recorded case twenty years ago).

    _________

CONDOMS HAVE ALSO BEEN LINKED TO BIRTH DEFECTS, INFIRTILITY (in men), PREECLAMPSIA, AND A HOST OF OTHER SERIOUS CONDITIONS.

  • Latex nipples and BPA?

I accidentally bought a set of Latex nipples yesterday, and it doesn't say anything about not having BPA.

Does latex pose a risk or do they not write it on the package because it does not??Latex nipples and BPA?
Latex does not contain BPA, as someone mentioned it is used to harden plastics--it also does not contain pthalates, which are used to soften PVC and are also a potential cause for concern. Latex is actually a naturally occuring substance, so latex alone is not a cause for concern unless your child is allergic. However, most latex products today are manufactured using ammonia as a preservative--so that could be a concern to you, though the FDA has of course determined that the ammonia does not leach. I would make sure you boil the latex nipples before you use them.Latex nipples and BPA?
I've been checking around...BPA is hardener for hard plastics. I'd say you are in the clear.
Latex nipples do not pose a risk.

Whast the alturnative to latex gloves

waht gloves are out ther thants not made from latex or rubber that u can stil use when ur cleaning Whast the alturnative to latex gloves
    http://www.google.co.il/search?q=latex+f鈥?/a>

vinil is the new type mostly usedWhast the alturnative to latex gloves
Nitrile gloves http://www.disability-shop.com/product-i鈥?/a> Most places that sell latex gloves (hardware stores, home improvement stores, mass marketers like Wal-Mart) also sell nitrile gloves, since latex allergies seem to be increasing.

I wouldn't recommend plastic gloves for cleaning, as they're usually flimsy. I work at a healthcare school, and we use latex gloves exclusively. You can find them in such pretty colors! http://www.uniquemedicaltoys.com/IMAGES/鈥?/a>
Look for nitrile gloves. They cost a bit more, but can be more durable, and better for you if you have a latex sensitivity.
Many hair dye products have plastic gloves in them. Most hardware stores I use have the hypoallergenic gloves beside the latex gloves. I think they are vinyl.

I'm allergic to latex. Could I still get a tattoo?

My studio has been 100% latex-free for nearly three years. We use nitrile gloves for tattooing and vinyl for clean up. Check with the artist to see if they have nitrile gloves available - most times they are blue but they are now available in even pink!I'm allergic to latex. Could I still get a tattoo?
Yes, you should be fine. I'm allergic to latex too, but it didn't seem to affect getting a tattoo.I'm allergic to latex. Could I still get a tattoo?
    yes
yes you can you just have to let the tattoo artist now that you have that allergy because usually they have two types of gloves one type has latex and the other doesn't.
I would think if you let the tattoo artiest know of your allergy, he could wear a surgical glove other than latex.
yes, they have non-latex gloves .
I am allergic to latex also. You should ask your doctor if it is okay they may want to give you medications just in case to prevent a reaction. You also should ask the Tatoo Artist place if they know if they use latex products. As you probably know latex is in many medical products and household products.
of course you could, just let the tattoo guy know before
I am not sure, you should consider visiting an allergist (but prior to this, ask the tattoo salon on the type of ink they use ...)
you absolutely can! you will just need to let your artist know ahead of time so he can get latex free gloves if he doesn't already tattoo with them.
lol....yeah.....they might not want to use latex gloves but other than that it would be fine
My hubby is a tattoo artist most artists use latex free gloves but let them know anyway just in case
yeah, the artist should have different material gloves to use.
Yes you can. Just make sure to tell the tattooist that you are allergic to latex and he/she will use a latex free gloves. No biggie.

Sheep skin!Im allergic to latex what else is there?
There are very few non-latex out there. The two mentioned are correct as well as the size difficulties. Just remember that if you use the skin products that protection from STDs will be compromised.
Look for Microsheer polyurethane...Durex has Avanti brand, and Trojan has, I think they're called Magnum... they only come in one size, and my partner finds the Avanti fits better. Look for it at Target

    Otherwise you can use lambskin.

  • Paint over latex ???

in the condo that we bought there is a latex paint on the door moldings.. unfortunately the latex is coming up and leaving spots on the molding that have latex and spots that you can see the previous paint. (it was a bad job by the previous owner, and no primer was used before the latex)..

should i just use a product like killz over the old latex paint and paint the entire door molding with the primer first, then paint? or should i remove the latex paint somehow and then primer.

    thanks !!!Paint over latex ???
Sand it right back then paint it.Paint over latex ???
the original kilz, the alkyd type is by far the best way to go.after it dries you can re coat with latex paint or oil base if you can still get it in your area
Sand the moulding, then prime and paint it. It gives you the smoothest surface.
it sounds like they painted the latex over an enamel paint.

The best thing I would do is to give all of it a light sand (the foam sanding blocks work pretty good for this) and then give it a coat of the kliz. Then top coat with the color you want.
just use killz the paint on top of this of the paint is loose and flaking you can lightly sand ot first

there are hypoallergenic condoms that you can buy at the store or order online...Theres also birth control for the girl of course and you dont have to use condoms. This might freak you out but to calm your nerves ill tell you how BCPs work...the hormones in the pills tells the girls body, ';hey, dont put any eggs in your V to be fertilized'; so this way if sperm is inside the V it wont get to any eggs to fertilize them and hence no pregnancy. However you have to trust the girl to take the pills everyday and so on and so forth. so if theres a trust issue just buy the hypoallergenic condoms and no worries=)Im allergic to latex what else is there?
How badly are you allergic to it? If the allergy is not that bad, only have sex once or twice a week. I would suggest lambskin but remember that they are a lot less effective against pregnancy and STD's. You might just have to do a lot of oral and hand jobs, then.
    Me too...

theres a lot of non latex condoms and they are usually sold right next to the other condoms

just know that lambskin does not protect against stds
you can use suran wrap lol....
    Don't wear one

Do you prefer latex, rubber, leather, vinyl, spandex or some other material for your catsuits?

We prefer latex/rubber and the next choice would be pvc/vinyl.

They are the best article of clothing out there!!! Anybody who hasn't tried on a latex catsuit has absolutely no idea what they are missing. Your partner will go wild and not be able to keep there hands off you.Do you prefer latex, rubber, leather, vinyl, spandex or some other material for your catsuits?

What is the difference between Silicone Swim Caps, latex swim caps, and Lycra Swim Caps?

the material, and elasticity. What is the difference between Silicone Swim Caps, latex swim caps, and Lycra Swim Caps?
Lycra will fall apart in time...latex wears out...and silicone will give you the best comfort for now. What is the difference between Silicone Swim Caps, latex swim caps, and Lycra Swim Caps?
Avoid any latex products. Many people develop allergies to it after continued exposure to it. The allergies may be life-threatening. That's why you see so many people in health care now using non-latex gloves %26amp; bandages.
silicone is way easier and nicer to put on I LOVE IT latex HURTZZZZ
