Does dental floss have latex?

i normally use cheaters-floss....the kind attached to a stick..but i used regular floss last night..and i got really red along the sides of my mouth...i have a latex allergy, could the floss have latex in it?Does dental floss have latex?
I don't think so... But I suppose it could be dependent on the brand...





I too have a latex allergy, which my dentist knows about, and I have never been advised not to floss... Infact quite the opposite... They tell me to do it!!
