Latex on oil?

i put an oil primer on a wall- can i paint the wall with latex or do i use oil?Latex on oil?
you can use either one if you used oil primer. You should sand it lightly first so either will adhere well. I would use latex if I were you, it doesn't smell up your house and in the future if you decide to change the wall color you will alwalys use latex and not have to worry what kind of paint to recoat with.Latex on oil?
if it was primer top coat with latex you will be fine
Oil primer = Oil or Alkyd paint.


Acrylic or latex primer = Acrylic or latex paint.
Latex goes over everything ,oil only goes over oil.
