Any good Links for LaTex in English?

Does anyone know any good links for LaTex ';ENLISH VERSIONS'; that I can find commands and examples quickly.


I know there are lots of links, but I am stuck muddling through pages of garbage in order to understand how to use the commands. If you have ever used LaTex you will know what I mean.Any good Links for LaTex in English?
Do you need to learn LaTeX or just write something in it? A nice frontend for LaTeX is LyX - mainly for Linux but they have one for Windows too. A number of other Windows frontends are available for LaTeX too, e.g. WinShell, WinEdt (2 minutes searching on Google).





For other stuff there is CTAN, the UK Tex Archive and many more.





If you're using Linux you have Kile (KDE application) and LyX, as well as trusty old vi.
