She is correct. But did they use latex gloves when they administered the test? If you have an allergy, that might be the cause. If you have a positive reaction to the test it doesn't mean your infected. It only means that you have been exposed to the bacteria that causes it. no it does not contain latex. It is plastic all the way. No latex at all!
