latex condoms are the most effective. The natural fibre condoms in particular have a much mower success rate for preventing STD transmission; they simply aren't as a good a barrier.
Other condoms ore effective, but you may want to use them with another form of contraception (the pill, or spermicide at least).Latex vs non latex condoms?
I never used non latex condoms but I heard they are not as effective as latex ones.
Avanti are a good non-latex brand with a good rep. Expensive but better than itching down there all the time.
